Enrollment Tracker

The Time-to-Revenue Accelerator

A provider signs a contract. Then they wait. And wait. And wait for credentialing to go through. The entire time they're sitting in "pre-revenue" status, the practice is paying their salary but not collecting a dime from their patient visits. That gap between signed contract and "ready to bill" is one of the most expensive blind spots in healthcare.

This module tracks exactly where every provider is in the enrollment process, syncs with NPPES and PECOS data, and gives you a real-time "Revenue Readiness" score so you always know who's stuck and where.

The Problem
The Pre-Revenue Gap

Every day a provider sits in the credentialing queue is a day you can't bill for their work. This tracker shows you exactly where that gap is and how to close it faster.

Key Features
What the Tracker Does

This isn't just a spreadsheet with dates on it. It's actively pulling data, comparing timelines, and flagging providers who are falling behind so you can step in before it becomes a bigger problem.

🔄

NPPES and PECOS Date Sync

Pulls the official NPI activation date via API to establish the baseline for when a provider can legally practice and bill. No more manually checking the registry. Enrollment status is classified as Active, Pending, Expired, or Terminated.

📊

Payer Lifecycle Tracking

Monitors the gap between credentialing submission and effective date for your top payers (Medicare, BCBS, United, etc.). You'll see exactly where each provider stands with each payer, plus credential expiration alerts for anything approaching within your configurable alert window.

Velocity Dashboard

Calculates enrollment processing speed, average days-to-enrollment, and throughput rates by practice type and payer. Identifies providers stuck in "pre-revenue" status longer than your benchmark (default 60 days, configurable via --alert-days).

Taxonomy Validation Layer

Cross-references NPI taxonomy codes with specialty-specific payer requirements to make sure the provider is being enrolled under the correct billing profile. One wrong taxonomy code can hold up everything — this catches it before submission.

Stopping the pre-revenue bleed. The faster a provider gets from contract to "ready to bill," the faster your practice starts seeing revenue from their work. Per-practice enrollment status CSVs, credential alert reports, velocity metrics, and a full dashboard JSON give your team complete visibility to make sure nobody falls through the cracks.
